FAQs
No. We only sell pasteurised milk, which means it has been gently pasteurised (heated) to kill any harmful bacteria.
Our milk is gently pasteurised, but that's all. We do not process our milk with any of the following processes:
Homogenisation
A process by which the fat globules from the milk are broken down into smaller and more uniform size preventing them from rising to the top. Research shows that changes to the fat molecules can cause allergic reactions and make milk less digestible.
Separation
The process whereby milk is separated into its cream and liquid components.
Standardisation
Another process where the cream and liquid components are re-blended to make milk that contains the exact amounts of fat required, depending on whether it is whole, semi-skimmed or skimmed. Low fat milk options have been shown to have less vitamin A and E.
By not processing our milk in these ways, it leaves it as nature intended - fresh and delicious!
Fresh, whole milk and flavoured milkshakes can be purchased direct from the farm, through our on-site self-service vending machine at the end of our lane using card or contactless payment.
We don’t provide single-use bottles, but you can purchase glass bottles from our vending machine or bring your own container to help us reduce plastic waste.
As soon as the the bottle is empty, rinse with COLD water to wash away any milk residue.
Then use hot soapy water to wash the bottle (using a bottle brush for best results) before rinsing again. Ideally, the bottle and lid should then be washed in a dishwasher.
Allow the bottle and lid to totally dry before putting the lid back on the bottle.
You are now ready to visit us again and refill your bottle!
